ARBORCOAT® Protective Clear Coat (636)

A premium-quality 100% acrylic finish coat for Benjamin Moore ARBORCOAT waterborne exterior stain systems. Use as a protective coating over Transparent (K637) and Semi Transparent stains (K638) on decks or other surfaces where enhanced abrasion resistance and additional protection is desired. Can also be used over ARBORCOAT waterborne semi solid stain (K639) when a low-lustre finish is preferred.
  • A clear protective coating for Benjamin Moore ARBORCOAT Transparent (K637) and Semi Transparent (K638) stains on deck surfaces
  • Low-lustre finish, can also be used over ARBORCOAT Semi Solid (K639)

ARBORCOAT® Transparent Deck & Siding Stain (637)

A premium-quality waterborne alkyd/acrylic transparent stain. Trans Oxide pigments are ground into a weather-tested vehicle to provide ultimate sun protection and abrasion and mildew resistance. As a complete system for decks ARBORCOAT Transparent Deck & Siding Stain must be topcoated with ARBORCOAT Waterborne Protective Clear Coat (K636).
  • Provides protection and colour without obscuring the grain or texture of the wood
  • Added life and durability are given to the finish by colour-permanent pigments ground in a weather-tested vehicle
  • May be applied to new, pressure-treated lumber
  • Formulated to penetrate, protect, and beautify wooden decking and furniture

ARBORCOAT® Semi Transparent Deck & Siding Stain (638)

A premium-quality waterborne alkyd/acrylic semi transparent stain formulated to penetrate and protect wood, resist abrasion, and beautify wood decking, siding, fencing, shingles and furniture. Its colours are semi transparent, allowing the colour and the grain pattern of the wood to show through. As a complete system for decks this ARBORCOAT stain must be top-coated with ARBORCOAT Waterborne Protective Clear Coat (K636).
  • Provides protection and colour without obscuring the grain or texture of the wood
  • Added life and durability are given to the finish by UV-blocking pigments ground in a weather-tested vehicle

A premium-quality 100% acrylic semi solid stain formulated to penetrate and protect wood, resist abrasion, and beautify wood decking, siding, fencing, shakes and furniture. Its colours are semi solid, allowing some of the colour and the grain pattern of the wood to show through.
  • Provides protection and colour without obscuring the grain or texture of the wood
  • The semi solid opacity of this product makes it ideal for reducing colour variations in wood without completely obscuring the wood grain
  • May be applied to new, pressure-treated lumber
