New online design tool will help consumers plan countertop and paint color combinations without ever leaving home.

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (January 25, 2010) – Building on an alliance that was established last year, Cambria, the only American maker of quartz countertops, and Benjamin Moore Paints have launched a new online tool that helps consumers select coordinated countertop and paint color combinations to achieve a designer look. By visiting, a click of the mouse allows you to choose a Cambria countertop color and then find a compatible or accent paint color from a pre-selected palette of Benjamin Moore hues.

“The concept for this system is to provide consumers with suggestions from trained color professionals, adding confidence and ease to the decision-making process when it comes to choosing a countertop and finding the right paint to match or complement it,” said Cambria CEO Marty Davis. “We couldn't ask for a better partner on this project than Benjamin Moore, which has long been recognized as one of America's leading color authorities.”

Initially 16 new quartz colors, added to the Cambria collection in September 2009, are featured in the program, and Benjamin Moore's color experts have suggested three possible color combinations comprised of three colors for each. The companies plan to expand their coordinated color partnership to the entire 64 Cambria colors in the near future.

About Cambria
Cambria is a privately held, family-owned company headquartered in Minnesota with a network of stone fabricator and installation partners throughout North America that share our commitment to quality, innovation and growth. Cambria is a stain-resistant, nonporous natural quartz surface that is harder, stronger and easier to care for than other stone surfaces because it does not require sealing with chemical-based conditioners, polishers or wax.

Cambria is committed to environmentally friendly business practices. As the only producer of natural quartz surfaces in the United States, Cambria has a lower carbon footprint than international quartz manufacturers that require greater transportation and carbon resources to access the U.S. market. Cambria is LEED-certified and recycles and reuses 100 percent of the water used in production.  Our quartz surfaces do not off-gas and contain zero formaldehyde or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Testing by Air Quality Sciences, Inc. (AQS), an International Organization for Standard (ISO), confirm that Cambria natural quartz surfaces have no harmful emissions of any type. With NSF International certification as safe for food preparation, and GREENGUARD for Children and Schools® and Indoor Air Quality Certified® certification, there is no safer surface available to consumers.
