HOW SILVER WORKS
The substrate is topcoated with Eco Spec WB Silver which contains EPA-approved antimicrobial agents including elemental silver. The silver molecules are imbedded
within the paint.
As microbes come in contact with the painted surface, water molecules migrate through the coating and encounter the elemental silver. Silver ions are produced (Ag+)
The silver ions (Ag+) rise to the surface and attach themselves to the microbes on the paint surface inhibiting their growth.
