 What is your customer service number for the online store?

Call 1-855-724-6802 (855-Paint-02) to speak to a customer service representative. Hours of operation are 7am to 7pm EST, Monday through Friday and 9am to 5pm EST Saturday.


 Can I buy paint online?

Yes, the Benjamin Moore Online Store offers a variety of paint, brushes, color samples, and other paint and color tools. Many of our green promise products are featured on this site, in a select palette of colors. For products and colors not available on our site, please visit one of our retail locations.


 Where can I order a Color Sample?

Pint Color Samples are available on the Benjamin Moore Online Store. In addition to color samples, gallons and quarts of interior paint and primer, as well as brushes, rollers, and fan decks are also available.


 What are the recommended settings for viewing color online? Will my paint match the color I see on my monitor?

Viewing color online plays an important factor in determining what colors will look best in your home. Not all monitors display color the same, and it is important to note the color on your screen may not match the paint colors ordered from benjaminmoore.com. There are a few things you can do to achieve the best experience possible and optimize your color experience online:

  • Our site is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher. Please visit our Best Viewed Information page for further details.
  • Try our Color Samples®. We now offer our full palette of over 3,400 colors from various collections in 16-oz. pint color samples. These Popular Designer Colors are available to be shipped directly to you to test color in advance of purchasing larger quantities.
  • Our Fan Decks also offer a true color match of the paint you are considering to purchase. These are also available to purchase on our online store, and are an excellent complement to the Virtual Fan Deck displayed on our site.

Shipping Policies

 Where do you ship to for purchases made on your online store?

We currently ship to the continental United States. Although we have retail locations in Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, we do not ship to these locations at this time. If you live outside the Continental US, please use our Retailer Locator to find a store near you.

To guarantee delivery, we must have complete addresses. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. and F.P.O. addresses.


 How much for you charge for shipping?

Shipping is based upon weight and is displayed at the end of the checkout process. All orders over $75 qualify for free UPS Ground shipping. Color sample only orders with four or more samples also qualify for free shipping.


 When will my order ship? When will I receive my order?

All orders are processed and boxed for shipment Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders typically leave our New Jersey warehouse within one business day from the day we receive your order. When your order is shipped, a confirmation email containing the UPS tracking number will be sent to you. This tracking information provides an estimated delivery date.

UPS Ground orders take between 1 to 5 business days to arrive from the ship date and are delivered Monday through Friday.
UPS 2nd Day Air orders arrive within 2 business days from the ship date and are delivered Monday through Friday.

 Will UPS leave the package if I am not home?

It is up to the sole discretion of the UPS driver whether they can leave a package at your door. If the shipping location is deemed a "safe" area, then the UPS driver will leave the package. However, if the driver has had past incidents of missing or stolen packages, he/she will most likely not leave the package. If you regularly have packages left at your door by UPS, this package should be no exception.

Please note, extreme cold weather conditions may cause paint to spoil. By making our paint eco-friendly, it is even more susceptible to freezing temperatures. We use special winter packaging ensure your paint arrives unfrozen in excellent condition. However, if you anticipate not being home within 8 hours of the package being delivered during freezing months, we strongly recommend sending your package to a business address to ensure delivery.


 Can I pick up my order from a Benjamin Moore retailer?

We are currently in the process of rolling out our customer pickup program in select locations. For more information use the Store Locator to find a local retailer near you and ask if this "time-saving" service is available.

Refund, Returns and Exchanges

 What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order from the Benjamin Moore Online Store, please call 1-888-BEN-MOOR (1-888-236-6667), option 3.
Sales of custom tinted paint are final and not eligible for return or exchange. Sales of unopened products with original manufacturer's packaging in good condition, and paint and primer with can clips attached may be returned within 90 days of the order date.

Online Purchase with Local Store Pickup
Customers who purchased online and picked up their products in a local store may return any eligible products to the store where they were obtained. Please bring a copy of your invoice and the credit card used for purchase along with the product(s) to be returned.

Online Purchase Shipped Direct
If you had your products shipped direct, you must first call customer service at 1-888-BEN-MOOR (1-888-236-6667), option 3 and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code. A 15% restocking fee will be applied and customers are responsible for return shipping.


 Can I return my paint if it is not the color I am expecting?

All custom tinted paint orders are final and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for a new color. We highly recommend sampling the color you are considering for purchase before ordering a larger quantity of product, as the colors you see on benjaminmoore.com may not match the color of your paint due to the way monitors display color.  Can I return my purchase to a Benjamin Moore Retailer?

At this time, our Benjamin Moore retail locations are not integrated with our online store and cannot accept returns. Please refer to our Return Policy for further information regarding returns.
