Step-by-step instructions

Step 1 — Prime the ceiling and walls

Apply Natura® zero-VOC primer on all surfaces to be painted and allow to dry.

Step 2 — Paint the ceiling

Paint the ceiling with wedgewood gray (HC-146) and allow to dry. Then use stencils to create stars of different sizes and paint them with mellow yellow (2020-50).

Step 3 — Paint the walls

Next, paint the walls with normandy (2129-40). Allow to dry and then paint the moldings, trims, and window elements with sugar cookie (2160-70). (You can also paint the furniture this color for maximum effect.)

• Drop cloth
• Benjamin Moore paint brushes
• 3" and 8" rollers
• Roller tray

Paint Colors:

• Walls: normandy (2129-40), Natura Interior Paint, Eggshell Finish
• Ceiling: wedgewood gray (HC-146), Natura Interior Paint, Flat Finish
• Trim: sugar cookie (2160-70), Natura Interior Paint, Semi-Gloss Finish
• Stars: mellow yellow (2020-50), Natura Interior Paint, Eggshell Finish
