     How can I view a PDF file that I downloaded from your web site?

    To view PDF files you will need the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat. Please click on the link provided and download the software. You will then be able to view the PDF file that you are interested in. 


    I use a MAC. When I try to download a PDF it downloads as "Download Binary" and I can not open the file. Is there a solution to this?

    After you download the document from the web site, a white page appears called "Download Binary". If you add ".pdf" to the end of "Download Binary," it will convert the document into a PDF file. 


    What color palette is used for the wet color samples?

    The Benjamin Moore Color Samples palette includes 260 of our best colors, designer favorites, and classic hues and tomorrow's trends in home fashion. The palette is designed to meet the needs of any style for any room in your home. We have chosen the most popular 260 colors for the Color Samples palette.     How do I view colors online?

    Currently we do not offer colors in JPG form. To view colors on-line we offer our Personal Color Viewer® v2.0. The professional version is equipped with a comprehensive library of interior and exterior images, along with the option of importing your own images for a truly customized color experience. The professional version allows you to import images from a digital camera, scanner or CD and, allows you to print dramatic before and after presentations. You can order the professional version online by clicking here, or visit your local Benjamin Moore retailer.


    What is the Color Makeover™ Program?

    We are proud to introduce the Benjamin Moore Color Makeover Program. This is a color consulting program that is tailored to your specific needs. We'll design customized color palettes for your home's interior or exterior that addresses your decorating challenges. To learn more about this feature click here.


    Why did you change the web site?

    Our industry is constantly changing and evolving. In order to better serve our existing and future consumer and professional customers, we redesigned the web site to improve the user experience, functionality, and to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.


    Why do you not have a Search Tool?

    We recognize that this is an important feature to have in order to find the information you need. This functionality is coming soon.



    How is the web site best viewed?

    Benjaminmoore.com is best viewed by Internet Explorer 6.x or higher, Mozilla Firefox® 2.x or higher, or equivalent browser software. If your browser is older, you may have trouble viewing many of our web site features properly. You can determine the version of your browser by choosing "Help" at the top of your browser window, then select "About" (your browser).

    This web site is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher. With most computers using Windows operating systems, you can easily change your screen resolution. Right click on the Desktop. When the "Display Properties" box appears, choose "Settings.” Your screen resolution settings are located there. Change the setting and click "OK." Check your computer's user manual if these directions do not apply to your computer. The benjaminmoore.com web site is very graphic intense and has a large amount of built-in multimedia. You will need the most recent versions of Adobe Flash Player (currently version 9) and Adobe Acrobat (currently version 8) in order to view the web site.


    How do I register?

    Move your mouse over “My Favorites” at the top right of the navigation (menu) bar. This bar is available on every page of the site. A box will appear, prompting you to register. Click on “Get Started” and you will be taken to another page that contains the Register screen. Click on the “Register Now” button and the registration form will appear.


    Where can I downlaod Coroporate Logos and Can Cuts?

    Ad Elements can be found in the Press section located in the footer. Retailers can also access the information from http://mybenjaminmoore.com.


    Colors on my computer screen do not appear the same when I print them. Why?

    On-screen and printer color representations may vary from actual paint colors due to differences in monitor calibrations and printer variations.

    Where can I find my My Project Notebook information?

    The My Project Notebook information has been replaced with the new My Favorites tool. Please re-register for My Favorites to begin. My Favorites has many new benefits and allows you to save a lot more information.


    Do I have to re-register with the new web site? Why?

    Yes, you will have to re-register for the new web site. The new web site has been refreshed with a new registration process. Register with benjaminmoore.com to take advantage of its many new features and benefits.


    Where can I order a Color Sample?

    You can order Color Samples in the For Your Home section by clicking on the Explore Color tab in the top navigation. The link to Color Samples is located in the left navigation menu, and the link to Order Color Samples will be found in the top of that section.


    Why do I have to put my information in when ordering a color sample if I am already registered for the site?

    The color samples section is separate from your registration with benjaminmoore.com. You will have to enter your shipping and billing information in a secure section to complete your order.


    Where is the Paint Calculator?

    The Paint Calculator is located in the For Your Home section. From that section click on Learn How, and then select the Paint Calculator from the left side navigation menu.

    For Retailers

    Where do I order color chips now?

    The Order Color Chips feature is available for retailers via the Order Color Chips menu option under the Product Information tab at http://mybenjaminmoore.com .


    Where can I find the online Moore's ColorRX® book?

    The Moore's ColorRX Inquiry tool, that enables you to access formulas, can be accessed by selecting the ColorRX menu option under the Color Technology tab at http://mybenjaminmoore.com.


    Where can I find the Benjamin Moore Online Store to order merchandise such as hats and shirts?

    Links to the Benjamin Moore Online Store can be found throughout the benjaminmoore.com web site within articles that feature our products that can be purchased online. The link is also located at the bottom of all of the pages in the “Footer” section.


    Where can I find a complete listing of TDS and MSDS in one place?

    You can find a complete listing of TDS and MSDS in the For Contractors section. Once you navigate to For Contractors, click on the "Products and Specs" tab in the top navigation bar, and then scroll down to Technical Information, and click "Browse Now".

    Where is the link to AEC Daily?

    The link to AEC Daily is located in the For Contractors section. Select "Business Resources" and then "Professional Tools" to access the link to AEC Daily.


    Where can I find a complete listing of TDS and MSDS in one place?

    You can find a complete listing of TDS and MSDS in the For Contractors section. Once you navigate to For Contractors, click on the "Products and Specs" tab in the top navigation bar, and then scroll down to Technical Information, and click "Browse Now".


    Where can I order color chips or swatches on the architectural site? I can’t find them.

    The link to Order Color Sheets is located in For Architects and Designers under Professional Resources. The link can be found in the left side navigation menu.


    Do I have to re-register to order Color Sheets if I registered in the past?

    No. If you have registered in the past, simply sign on using your original ID and password that you have previously used to order Color Sheets.


    Why is the registration process for ordering Color Sheets different from the My Favorites tool?

    The Order Color Sheets site is separate from benjaminmoore.com.


    The color chip/swatch order page was changed a while ago, and I had previously saved to my “favorites” folder. Can I still reach that page from my “favorites” or is there a new link?   

    The main URL to the Order Color Sheets site has not changed. It can be added to your favorites again using the following URL: http://bm.faicentral.com/logina.


    The “quick order form” only works for color numbers; not for color names.

    Yes, that’s correct. This functionality has not changed with the web site redesign. We will research to see if this functionality can be upgraded.


    When you order by color number, you have to “check off” a box to indicate whether it is a Classic or Color Preview® color. Why?

    This functionality has not changed with the web site redesign. We will research to see if this functionality can be upgraded.


    If you put a Studio Finishes® number in the order color sheets search box, it doesn't come up.

    You will receive results when you put in the exact color number rather than the product number. For example, enter gold-10 for gold metallic rather than 620 for Studio Finishes Metallic Glaze.


    On the color sheets home page I used to be able to type a product name or number in the search box. I can no longer find this tool; where did it go?

    You can still type a product name or number into the search box. The search box appears after you log in.


    Do you offer Color Samples sheets?

    Benjamin Moore offers free 8" x 8" or 9" x 5" Color Sheets that can be mailed directly to your home at no charge.  You can order large paint samples by calling our sample department directly. You will be given a confirmation number as well as shipping options. Please call 888-854-9889 to order. To order color samples online, click here to go the Benjamin Moore Color Sample Order Page. Simply register yourself and place your order indicating the samples that you desire, by their original number.


    Can you recommend architectural representatives to help?

    Benjamin Moore has knowledgeable architectural sales representatives available to help you with your specifications. For product catalogs, color fan decks, and other color media, please contact the Benjamin Moore Architectural Representative in your region. Click here to locate your local representative.


    Do you have a product search tool on your site?
