Benjamin Moore paint is available at independently owned paint and hardware stores.  

3. Where can I buy a Color Sample?

Pint-size color samples are available at the Benjamin Moore Online Store and your local Benjamin Moore Retailer.  

4. What is the Color Capture® app?

Available for iPhones and Android OS phones, the Color Capture® app lets you capture inspiration color with your phone's camera and instantly find its match from Benjamin Moore's 3500+ paint colors.  

5. Can you recommend a painting contractor?

Hiring a professional is an important decision. Your local Benjamin Moore retailer can help you find the right contractor for your job.  

6. How do I receive emails from Benjamin Moore?

During registration, you may choose to opt-in for certain emails from us. If you already have an account and aren’t getting emails, visit your My Profile and update your opt-in status.

If you don’t want to register for an account, you can still receive Benjamin Moore emails. Simply enter your information here.

7. Where can I find the Online Store?

In the Benjamin Moore Online Store you can buy paint and pick it up at your local Benjamin Moore store, purchase Color Samples and more.  

8. How do I explore paint colors on the website?

Go to Find Your Color for a suite of interactive, online color tools. You can search by Color Family, explore Benjamin Moore Color Palettes and use Color a Room to 'mask' dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, offices and more.

You'll also find the Personal Color Viewer located here, a tool that lets you upload your own images–or use ones we provide–to 'paint' up to five surfaces using any one of our 3,500+ colors. Please note that Personal Color Viewer is not optimized for mobile or tablet devices.  

9. Colors on my computer screen do not appear the same when I print them. Why?

On-screen and printer color representations may vary from actual paint colors due to differences in monitor calibrations and printer variations.  

10. Why does Personal Color Viewer look different?

We recently updated the visual look of Personal Color Viewer, however the functionality remains exactly the same, including access to any saved photos you may have previously uploaded.  

Website Questions | Registration Questions 

1. I am new to Benjamin Moore; how do I register for a benjaminmoore.com account?

To get started, go to our Account Registration/Login page, which can also be accessed by clicking the person icon on the upper right hand corner of every Benjamin Moore website page. If you are on a mobile device like a cell phone or tablet, go to the menu and look for Register or Sign In

To sign up, go to the Need an Account box and click Get Started, which will take you to the Create an Account page. There, you’ll enter registration information, including whether you’d like to opt-in to receive Benjamin Moore emails and your relationship to Benjamin Moore.

Click Create My Account, at the bottom of the page, to complete your registration. Then, look for an email verification in the inbox of the email with which you registered. Click on the Validate Email link, or use the email’s enclosed hyperlink to verify your email.  If your registration is validated, you’ll see a Success message with a link to sign in.

PLEASE NOTE: Your new account information will not give you access to Personal Color Viewer® or My Favorites for now. To tap into the Personal Color Viewer and My Favorites tools, you will need to create another account here

 

12. I had an account on the old site. Am I still able to login to the new website?

Yes! If you had an account on our old site, you will be able to login to the current website. The email address and password that you last used will still work.  

13. My account on your old site didn’t have a Username. Can I create one now?

After signing in using your email address and password, you can visit the My Profile page and click Account Security on the upper left side of the My Profile page. There you can create a Username that will be saved to your account. You will then be able to login using your Username–or you can continue to use your email address on file.  

14. Where can I find My Profile to update my information?

You must be logged in to access My Profile; it is located on the upper right corner on every page of the Benjamin Moore website. If you are on our mobile site, it is accessible via the menu.  

15. Will the new account registration page still contain a Social Log In?

Currently, social log in in is not available on our website.  

16. Is there a way I can stay signed in on my device without logging in every time?

Yes! You can remain signed in for 30 days by checking off "Remember Me" at the time of logging in.  

17. What if I forgot my password?

Go to Account Registration/Login page and select Forgot Password. You will be prompted to enter your email address or Username, and then press the Submit button. An email will be sent to you containing a link to reset your password.  

18. How do I change my password?

Once logged in, go to Account Security located under My Profile to change your password.  

19. I have recently changed my email address. Is there a way to update my information?

Please visit the Contact Us page and send us a note about this change. We’ll be in touch to update your profile information.

20. What is My Favorites?

My Favorites is a convenient way to save any one of our 3,500+ colors–as well as products, articles and images–that are found on the Benjamin Moore website.

Look for the icon found throughout the Benjamin Moore website: My Favorites makes it easy to capture and save the Benjamin Moore info that will help bring your next home project to life. Save individual images using My Items, and organize multiple items in My Projects.  

21. Do I have to be registered to use My Favorites?

Yes. If you want to use My Favorites, you must either login using your existing account info or create a new account by registering here.  

22. In My Favorites, what is the difference between My Items and My Projects?

Using My Items enables you to save individual 'items' including colors, products, articles and images from Benjaminmoore.com. My Projects serves as a folder to collect multiple items; you can name Projects accordingly, e.g. Bob's Bedroom Ideas, Upstairs Bathroom Colors, etc.  

23. What are some tips for using My Favorites?

*My Items serves as your 'bucket' of every single saved item (e.g. color, product, article or image) that you save; an item can only be saved in My Items once, however the same item can exist in more than one Project.

*Once you add an item to My Items, the item's heart icon, on the upper right side, will be shaded; please note that just because an item's heart is shaded, doesn't mean you can't add this item to other Projects.  

24. What is the difference between My Favorites, Color a Room and Personal Color Viewer?

These are interactive, online color tools that can help you plan a successful painting project using Benjamin Moore colors and products.

My Favorites empowers you to collect and save paint colors, products, articles and images that you find on the Benjamin Moore website.

Color a Room lets you experiment with Benjamin Moore color using a wide range of inspirational home photographs that we provide.

Personal Color Viewer lets you upload your own images, or use the ones we provide, to 'paint' up to five surfaces using any one of our 3,500+ colors. Please note that Personal Color Viewer is best viewed on your desktop; Personal Color Viewer is not optimized for mobile and tablet devices.

You can download TDSs and SDSs for specific Benjamin Moore paints and other products in the SDS/TDS section of the site. HPD documents are available on the HPD section.

29. Can I buy paint online?

Yes, the Benjamin Moore Online Store offers a variety of paint, brushes, color samples, and other paint and color tools. Many of our premium products are featured on this site, in a select palette of colors. For products and colors not available on our site, please visit one of our retail locations.

30. Why doesn't my login work from benjaminmoore.com to access the online store?

The online store has not yet been fully integrated with the existing website. At this time, you will need to maintain a separate login to access our online store.

Online Store | Shipping and Tracking Questions 

32. Where do you ship to for purchases made on your online store?

We currently ship to the continental United States. Although we have retail locations in Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, we do not ship to these locations at this time. If you live outside the Continental US, please use our Retailer Locator to find a store near you.

To guarantee delivery, we must have complete addresses. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. and F.P.O. addresses.

33. How much for you charge for shipping

Shipping is based upon weight and is displayed at the end of the checkout process. All orders of over $75 qualify for free UPS Ground shipping (excludes paint picked up in stores). Color sample only orders with four or more samples also qualify for free shipping.

34. When will my order ship? When will I receive my order?

All orders are processed and boxed for shipment Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders that we receive prior to 3:00PM ET typically leave our New Jersey warehouse within 24-48 Hours. When your order is shipped, a confirmation email containing the UPS tracking number will be sent to you. This tracking information provides an estimated delivery date.

UPS Ground orders take between 1 to 5 business days to arrive from the ship date and are delivered Monday through Friday. This does not included the warehouse handle time.

UPS 2nd Day Air orders arrive within 2 business days from the ship date and are delivered Monday through Friday. This does not included the warehouse handle time.

35. Will UPS leave the package if I am not home?

It is up to the sole discretion of the UPS driver whether they can leave a package at your door. If the shipping location is deemed a "safe" area, then the UPS driver will leave the package. However, if the driver has had past incidents of missing or stolen packages, he/she will most likely not leave the package. If you regularly have packages left at your door by UPS, this package should be no exception.

Please note, extreme cold weather conditions may cause paint to spoil. By making our paint eco-friendly, it is even more susceptible to freezing temperatures. We use special winter packaging ensure your paint arrives unfrozen in excellent condition. However, if you anticipate not being home within 8 hours of the package being delivered during freezing months, we strongly recommend sending your package to a business address to ensure delivery.

36. Can I pick up my order from a Benjamin Moore retailer?

We are currently in the process of rolling out our customer pickup program in select locations. For more information use the Store Locator to find a local retailer near you and ask if this "time-saving" service is available.

Online Store | Refunds, Returns and Exchanges Questions 

38. What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order from the Benjamin Moore Online Store, please call 1-888-BEN-MOOR (1-888-236-6667), option 3. Sales of custom tinted paint are final and not eligible for return or exchange. Sales of unopened products with original manufacturer's packaging in good condition, and paint and primer with can clips attached may be returned within 90 days of the order date.

Online Purchase with Local Store Pickup
Customers who purchased online and picked up their products in a local store may return any eligible products to the store where they were obtained. Please bring a copy of your invoice and the credit card used for purchase along with the product(s) to be returned.

Online Purchase Shipped Direct
If you had your products shipped direct, you must first call customer service at 1-888-BEN-MOOR (1-888-236-6667), option 3 and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code. A 15% restocking fee will be applied and customers are responsible for return shipping.

39. Can I return my paint if it is not the color I am expecting?

All custom tinted paint orders are final and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for a new color. We highly recommend sampling the color you are considering for purchase before ordering a larger quantity of product, as the colors you see on benjaminmoore.com may not match the color of your paint due to the way monitors display color.

40. Can I return my purchase to a Benjamin Moore Retailer?

At this time, our Benjamin Moore retail locations are not integrated with our online store and cannot accept returns. Please refer to our Return Policy for further information regarding returns.
